Robert is a Co-Founder of Erica Robert Associates, a New York-based legal recruiting firm specializing in partner placements in the elite tier of the AmLaw.
Over the last several years, Robert has successfully represented and placed high-value partners in Private Equity M&A, Restructuring, Leveraged Finance, Fund Formation, Public Company and Strategic M&A, Capital Markets, Emerging Company/Venture Capital, Life Sciences, White Collar, International Arbitration, International Trade, Commercial Litigation, Data Protection/Cybersecurity and Antitrust among others.
Robert prides himself on providing candidates total responsiveness. He works with individuals to find a firm that will allow them to optimize their practice. Robert spends significant time getting to know his candidates, and is incredibly knowledgeable about the inner workings and economics of top tier firms. In addition to working with the most sought-after partner candidates, Robert has developed deep relationships with law firm Chairs and Executive Committee members at the most prestigious firms in the world. Through these relationships, Robert has gained valuable insight into the strategic needs and hiring which allows him to effectively match clients and candidates.
Robert received his J.D. in 2009 and began his career as a litigator before transitioning to legal recruiting in 2014. Robert regularly relies on his legal background, especially when counseling candidates and clients through complex compensation negotiations. As demonstrated by his success to-date, Robert is recognized as rising star in the legal recruitment industry. Prior to forming Erica Robert Associates Robert was a Partner at a boutique legal search firm.

In her practice, she focuses on placing law firm partners and groups across a variety of practice areas, including Private Equity M&A, Restructuring, Leveraged Finance, Fund Formation, Public Company and Strategic M&A, Capital Markets, Emerging Company/Venture Capital, Life Sciences, White Collar, International Arbitration, International Trade, Commercial Litigation, Data Protection/Cybersecurity and Antitrust among others.
Erica combines her outstanding networking skills with a dedicated work ethic and vast industry expertise. She has represented a multitude of AmLaw 100 partners in building practice groups and prides herself on finding the best fit for each partner. Erica provides an individualized bespoke experience, which has earned her the respect of clients and candidates alike. Her unwavering investment of time allows Erica to guide each partner appropriately depending on their individualized set of circumstances. Erica’s consummate goal is to find the ideal fit for both candidates and clients alike.
Erica received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2008, and began recruiting that same year with Alan Roberts & Associates. Erica spent five years training and learning the business of partner recruiting at Alan Roberts, and has been in love with lateral partner recruiting since. Before forming Erica Robert Associates Erica was a Partner in a boutique search firm; and also ran her own firm.
